• Durability of Insulation King

Insulation King has a useful life of 10 years and more, and maintains its very low conductivity over time, due to its extraordinary properties and able to withstand external and internal extreme conditions and impacts such as moisture ingress or weather conditions. There is no slight increase in thermal conductivity as the material age which represents excellent value over the expected lifetime of a building – a minimum of 25 years. There are a variety of testing methods employed by manufacturers to make certain that Insulation King will be able to last in an environment or geographic location for as long as possible. These specific tests include: 1. Natural weathering test. This is a real world test of durability, and it was conducted at China, and other places that experience high sunlight intensity and/or significant heat and humidity. In this type of test, they put Insulation King with the substrate and then leave it out in the sun. The standard test would be ten years. Insulation king is an eco-friendly product that helps solve problems of roof heat and rust prevention.

Moreover, it prevents the molds and mildews from developing on walls and eventually all over the surface. 2. Accelerated weathering test. This procedure exposes coatings in a steel box to a combination of UV bombardment by special fluorescent light, moisture, and heat. The steel box can be set up for four-hour cycles (four hours of light exposure and four hours of heat and humidity or any number of even hours.) Insulation King is unaffected with the high heat as it can prevent heat from moving to the base surface and can reflect more than 75% of sunlight.

Efficiency, % temperature reduction. Percent temperature reduction can be reached up to 50% thermal difference from your commonly used thermal insulators. The product composition is made from non-metallic minerals with very low thermal conductivity comparable to wood and paper (0.30W/(w-K)). On top of the desirable characteristics for a thermal insulator with very low thermal conductivity, rapid heat dissipation through reflectivity and very low moisture – vapor permeability. The product has very high resistance to extreme heat (900 – 1000 °C) without burning, flaking or changes in appearance, state and composition. Insulation King is excellent in low temperature, high temperature, corrosion resistance, aging resistance, strong adhesion, and property of not peeling easily; it needs less maintenance and reduces pollution and extends service life of roof surface and walls (interior and exterior).
